As much as I enjoy Anne, some of L. M. Montgomery other books are quite delightful, too. Jane of Lantern Hill, The Blue Castle, and Mistress Pat are a few of them!
I read the Anne of Green Gables series for the first time earlier this year. I'd seen the TV series years ago but never gotten around to reading the books - they were beautifully written and made me want to watch the series again - just need to get Netflix!
