This winter I have several events you might be interested in joining! I often get asked about when and where I present but haven't done this kind of a blog post in the past. Social media is great for me to share, but many followers don't see my posts.
The best way to keep updated is by visiting my schedule of events here at my website and through my monthly author newsletter. But here's a quick summary! I wanted to dedicate a blog post about these especially since three of these events are free for participants and available to all as webinars.
February 7: The North Carolina Reading Association has invited me to present a PD webinar focusing on celebrating curiosity. It's at 6:30 Eastern. Register here. It's free. A link will be emailed the day of the presentation. Once again, the main audience is educators, but all are welcome.
February 18: The Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum of Walnut Grove, Minnesota is hosting a book and history discussion for On the Banks of Plum Creek. Join myself as well as authors Cindy Wilson and Dan Peterson to learn more about the book--and the real people and places in it. Learn more and register here. It's free. This is a family-friendly event though most of our audience will be adults.
These are my public events. I'm visiting several schools (in person and virtually) this winter and spring, too. I can't wait! (If you're interested in an author visit, I have availability in May and June. I'm also booking for next school year.)
